On the 27th January, IH Viseu, hosted the IH Portugal Admin Training Day. Administrators from IH Aveiro, IH Braga, IH Coimbra-Santa Clara and Olivais and IH Torres Vedras attended the training. The idea behind this event was to provide IH Portugal administrative staff with a day specially dedicated to them, filled with training, exchange of ideas and socializing.
This year the primary focus of the day was the IH Customer Experience and how to improve it. There were also sessions from Gay Adamson (IH Viseu) who gave an overview of the school from past to present, a discussion about the IH Promises, an exercise on Internal Communication and had a ‘Give and Get’ session where ideas were exchanged.
Beccy Wigglesworth, Operations Manager from IHWO said “The IH Portugal schools have demonstrated the importance of involving all their staff in improving their customers’ experience. This investment in staff capital is rewarded in the success of the schools, and is a model that I would encourage all IH schools to copy.”
IH Portugal would like to thank everyone who organised and spoke at the event, especially Gay Adamson, Monica Green, Jo Adamson and Beccy Wigglesworth.
