Quality and Inspections

All IH affiliated schools share a quality commitment to our clients, our staff and our planet. We want our clients to achieve their aspirations and open new horizons by learning with International House face to face or in an online environment, and we want IH staff to be a part of a team supporting students to progress and achieve.

International House schools are regularly inspected, both face to face and online, to ensure they deliver a high quality service. Our objective is to ensure that students will have the same engaging and effective language learning experience with any International House school, regardless of their city and country, and regardless of how they are studying. 

In inspections we not only check what schools are doing now, but encourage them to keep up to date and lead the industry with innovations.

Inspections

Simply, inspections check that schools are delivering on their promise to clients and staff. IH schools are inspected when they first join the network, then they gradually reduce to once every three years. Inspections involve visiting the school, observing classes, directly surveying students and staff, speaking to managers, and looking at paperwork and processes. Inspections usually last between two and four days. Schools receive a detailed report, and a Highlights Report which can be shared with clients and other stakeholders.  These can be seen by accessing the link opposite.
