IH Online Teacher Training Institute (OTTI) certificates

On successful completion of your IH OTTI course, you will receive a certificate.

When you have completed your course and it has been moderated (this will take up to 6 or 8 weeks depending on the course), you will be sent an email with a link to your certificate. There is no additional charge for this as the cost of the digital certificate is included in your course fee.

What kind of certificate will I receive?

The certificates we issue are verifiable, digital certificates. This means that they are stored on a registered, verified site so there is no question of the authenticity of your certificate for a prospective employer, client, or anyone else you choose to share your certificate with.

Why does IH OTTI issue digital certificates?

IH OTTI has chosen to issue digital certificates in order to make things as simple and straightforward as possible for you. Traditional paper certificates can get lost in the post, arrive damaged or get misplaced. A digital certificate is much more safe and secure.

In addition, we have chosen to issue digital certificates to uphold the promises we have made to environmental sustainability. By reducing our consumption of paper, ink and energy when printing and posting certificates, we are having a positive impact on the health of our environment.

What are some of the benefits of a digital certificate?

I still don’t really understand what you mean by ‘digital certificate’?

Think of it as a scanned copy of a paper certificate which is stored online for you in a safe, secure place. You can log in at any point to view your certificate. You can also download and print a PDF copy, share it on social media and even add it to your website, email signature, blog or digital resume. Will my IH OTTI certificate say that my course was taken online?

No. Your certificate will give the name of your course but it won’t state that it was an online course. You can see sample certificates here and here.

Will my IH OTTI certificate expire?

No. Your certificate has no expiry date.
