Giga International House – Catania opera nel settore della didattica delle lingue straniere dal 1997 ed è riconosciuta dal Ministero dell’Istruzione con Presa d’Atto n. 2681/1 del 8/2/00. La nostra sede, recentemente ampliata, ristrutturata ed attrezzata secondo le più recenti metodologie didattiche, si trova nel centro storico e commerciale di Catania. La scuola è Centro autorizzato per le certificazioni internazionali riconosciute University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. I certificati Cambridge ESOL sono riconosciuti per l’ammissione alla frequenza della maggior parte delle università straniere e sono validi ai fini dei crediti universitari.I nostri insegnanti sono madrelingua o livello madrelingua, laureati, in possesso della certificazione CELTA che qualifica all’insegnamento dell’inglese agli adulti. La direzione didattica cura il loro coordinamento e l’aggiornamento professionale. I nostri corsi di inglese spaziano da Generical English ai corsi specifici per le certificazioni Cambridge (tutti i livelli: YLE, Key, Preliminary, First, Advanced, Proficiency).
Adoperiamo libri di testo di case editrici che godono un ampio riconoscimento nel campo della didattica. Durante il corso vengono anche utilizzati strumenti multimediali come tablets, televisioni touch screen, notebook. Inoltre viene utilizzato anche del materiale di studio autentico come quotidiani e riviste del settore di competenza. Giga IH è anche centro DITALS, monitorato dall'Università per Stranieri di Siena.

Giga International House is an English as a foreign language teacher training centre accredited by the University of Cambridge offering CELTA courses and DELTA Module 1 exams. We were the first centre in Italy authorized to offer the CELTA online in 2010. At Giga, high educational standards and the professional development of our staff are at the heart of our mission. CELTA - Cambridge English Language Assessment's Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults is one of the world's foremost initial qualifications for people who wish to become professional teachers of English language. It is accepted throughout the world by organisations which employ English language teachers.
Cambridge English Language Assessment works with international ELT organisations to ensure the acceptance of Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) globally. According to Cambridge English Language Assessment more than 10,000 candidates complete a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) course each year.The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) course will be your passport into TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Accommodation can be arranged upon request. We offer our own accommodation, a fully furnished flat which can accommodate up to 5 people in self catering single rooms with shared bathrooms. We can also help find alternative arrangements. Please let us know which type of accommodation you would prefer while doing the course with us by clearly stating your preference in the application form.
