The 2023 ST Star Awards finalists have been announced and we are proud to see just how many IH schools have made it to this stage.
These awards recognise outstanding institutions and best practice in the field of international education. As a global network of language schools that strives for the highest quality for students and employees, it is rewarding to see the efforts of IH schools being recognised.

IH ST Star Spanish Language School Finalists
CLIC IH Seville, Malaga, Cadiz
CLIC International House’s three fantastic Spanish language schools in Andalucia are some of the most renowned Spanish language schools in Spain. They welcome junior programmes, over 50s, language and culture, pathways, internships and much more to their three schools. The first school, Seville, opened in 1983, it quickly expanded in size and reputation resulting in current numbers standing at 4,000 students from 35 countries studying with them each year.
Españolé IH Valencia
This school on the Mediterranean coast of Spain excels in its complete offering to its students. From an extensive range of
Spanish courses including junior, internship and teacher training programmes to a carefully constructed social activities schedule. Their students span a wide range of ages, and they ensure they cater to them all.
ST Star German Language School - Go Academy! IH Düsseldorf
This school has been one of the leading language schools for more than 30 years. They run special course programs for those learning a language with a specific purpose, Business German, German for University Studies and much more. Their own values align closely with those of Star Awards, "Our philosophy of teaching language as an integral part of a culture is the foundation of sustainable understanding, constructive communication and successful collaboration." ST Star French Language School – ILA IH Montpellier
Although ILA IH Montpellier is new to the IH network, the school's excellence is nothing new. Founded in 1998, they offer year-round French immersion, and the school is run by dedicated and qualified professionals with many years of experience. Their programmes for teenagers and adults include standard, online, French “PLUS”, senior and teacher training courses.
ST Leading Star – French in Normandy
French in Normandy IH Rouen has been selected for this elite category as they have won their category 5 times. They run group and individual French courses, they cover exam preparation, teacher training and much more. The school is committed to improving its environmental performance and sustainable development and hold the IHWO Protecting Our Planet badge.
