Thirty-five teachers who teach 10 different languages met up on 17 March for IH Zurich-Baden’s internal Training Day. This was the 11th such event and has always been met with great enthusiasm by the teaching team. It’s a day which provides the teachers with a chance to catch up with colleagues while learning new classroom techniques.
Workshop topics either focused on school goals or requests made by teachers. This year’s workshops included assessing writing skills and giving feedback to learners; using your laptop in the classroom; practical ideas for the interactive whiteboard; and how to organise your board to enhance learning.
There was an incredibly positive buzz throughout the whole event with teachers chatting and sharing ideas - they are all already looking forward to the 2019 Training Day!
