International House Valencia has upgraded its school location to a brand new, purpose-designed building in the heart of Valencia’s old town.
The 2100m2 school is now located in the elegant and historical Palacio de los Fernández de Córdova, which is just a few steps away from the beautiful baroque-style Cathedral.
IH Valencia have carefully renovated this stunning 153-year-old property to their own vision of a 21st century language school that fuses history and tradition with complete modernism.
The building is placed where the 11th century Arab walls were standing and there is still a large part of them running through the school on display, so students can feel the history of Spain while learning the language.
There are 28 classrooms with interactive whiteboards, plenty of natural light, air-conditioning and every other amenity to make it perfectly equipped for Spanish language lessons. There is also a large terrace, two different patios and a café for students to relax in and enjoy a snack or coffee while interacting in Spanish.
IH Valencia – Españolé is situated on one of the main streets that runs through the district of el Carmen, calle Caballeros, which is a hotbed of activity during the day and transforms at sunset into one of the main streets for nightlife in Valencia.
Surrounded by so much history and culture our students never have to travel far to find something new and exciting such as the famous el Carmen street art, great bars and restaurants, funky shops and so much more.
