IH Palma were pleased to co-host the ¡VAMOS! Español en España FEDELE Workshop in Mallorca and Ibiza, from 8th – 11th October 2017. IH Barcelona, Cádiz, Madrid, Málaga, San Sebastián, Sevilla and Valencia, also attended.
FEDELE is the federation of private language schools in Spain offering Spanish as a foreign language. Every year they organise an industry workshop where Spanish language schools and Study Abroad Agencies meet. This year’s workshop took place in the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Mallorca. 46 international agencies and 30 FEDELE schools attended.
Over the four days, participants were able to enjoy their meetings and meals in some spectacular and picturesque settings which included Ibiza beach, the historic Town Hall in Ibiza Town, Bellver Castle in Palma and the magnificent cloisters of Sant Francesc school. At the evening buffet in Sant Francesc, the visitors were treated to a wide selection of traditional Mallorcan cuisine, with IH Palma director, Andy Sampson, and DOS Jan Wright hosting one of the four “food stations”!
