The Milan Design Week Fuorisalone 2018 took place from April 17 to 22, with Italian students from International House Milan taking part in some of the creative events across the city.
One such event was a special lesson at the University of Milan, which the students attended, as well as other artistic installations that were put on for the cultural occasion.
Fuorisalone is the set of design- and fashion-related events happening in different areas of Milan on the same days as the Salone Internazionale del Mobile takes place.
The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is an exhibition dedicated to international home furnishings, which transforms the city into a large installation open to the public, in a series of events, including music, exhibitions, DJ sets, artists and designers from around the world.
“Every year, in April, Salone and Fuorisalone define the Milan Design Week, the most important event in the world for design,” said IH Milan. “Currently, it is expanding into many related sectors including automotive, technology, telecommunications, art, fashion and food.”
IH Milan also say thank you to Elena, the teacher involved, and to all their students!
