We were delighted that the ADRIES Conference, organised by Jantar IH Split, took its environmental responsibility seriously.Â
We want to travel to conferences to benefit our businesses, but we know that it has negative environmental impacts. ADRIES took steps to reduce this impact by publishing only digital materials, not giving conference bags, not having single use cups, choosing to local partners who also share an environmental commitment, and recommending attendees offset CO2 emissions for travel or carpooling.
