ILC’s very own Anna Sigmund is making her conference debut with a deep dive into technology.
Fan favourite Daniela Clarke from Macmillan is back with sessions on fast finishers and a toolkit of activities for teens.
Award-winning author and story-based teacher Sylvie Doláková is treating the audience to two sessions – one on communicative grammar, and the other on speaking tasks for teens.
The school is thrilled to invite back the DELTA-qualified Mat Smith. Formerly of ILC, he now teaches English, Social Sciences and PE at American Academy Brno. His session will help delegates exploit texts and authentic materials!
Charles Du Parc and Dave Cleary are two of IH Brno's stalwarts. Charles has been cramming hard since you saw him last, so, for this conference, he’s got 2 new sessions on exams. And Dave will be rocketing through 5 of his favourite activities. He’s even promising 3 original jokes!
And if you have any doubts about trying that new activity you just picked up, definitely check out Martina Weissbergerová from Oxford Press as she explores growth mindset.
Similarly, Kateřina Kallus Brychová from Gymnázium Kapitána Jaroše opens up on the struggles and opportunities we face when exhaustion hits and our motivation is challenged.
The delegates will be heading back to U Třech Čertů for food – and you’re welcome to join (optional). They are promising a tasty feast.
