Historic Oxford is famous across the world for its university and royal connections. Today, it’s a modern, cosmopolitan town with plenty for tourists to see and do, from shopping to eating out and going to shows. Its location in the centre of England is convenient for visiting London, the Cotswolds, Birmingham and the south coast.
The prestigious St. Edward’s boarding school is used during the spring and summer holiday periods by IH Oxford. The historic building is full of character and boasts excellent, modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms and a wide variety of sports facilities.
All students have 15 hours of General English lessons per week, as well as 3 days of excursions per fortnight. Students can choose between English Plus - with an extra 6 hours of specialised English per week, or English Active - with an extra 6 hours of sports or cultural activities.
The school has a variety of residential accommodation, including single, twin, triple and quadruple rooms. Rooms are comfortable and each has a desk for studying. Some rooms have private bathrooms and others share a bathroom with around 2-3 other students. All accommodation houses have lounge areas.
