We are excited to welcome IH Team Lingue Sondrio to the IH network. The Sondrio school will join IH Team Lingue Como, IH Team Lingue Lecco and IH Team Lingue Merate as the fourth school in the Team Lingue group.
Sondrio is a small and charming city located 45 km east of Lake Como in Northern Italy. The dedicated Team Lingue officially acquired the school, previously The British Language Center, in July 2022. We are thrilled to see the Team Lingue group expanding and opening a new school under the guidance of Managing Director, Fabio Sgotto. They are making their way around the circumference of Lake Como and building up a following of loyal students as they go!

The Team Lingue group started out in 1983 and they have since achieved recognition through joining distinguished membership organisations such as IH World and AISLi (Italian Association of Language Schools). They are also officially recognized by the MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education).
IH Team Lingue Sondrio’s Services
Like the other Team Lingue schools, Sondrio will offer a range of interesting services. From individual and group English and Italian courses to French, Arabic, German, Japanese, Mandarin and more, there are plenty of opportunities for residents in the area to learn a second language.
But the school is much more than just language courses, IH Team Lingue Sondrio offers a variety of further language services, such as CLIL methodology classes, teacher training, summer camps, study holidays, high school abroad, work-study programs, au pairs around the world, Cambridge and LanguageCert Exams and interpreting and translation services.
They cater to all age groups with programmes for children, teens and adults in both online and face-to-face formats. As well as age group-specific programmes, they offer a range of specialist courses such as Exam Preparation, which includes Cambridge, LanguageCert and IELTS and Business courses for the corporate world.
Meaningful Experiences Through Language
Their mission is to give all their learners meaningful experiences through language learning. What better way to have an immersive and life-changing experience than through travel?
Team Lingue acts as a travel agent in organising enriching study trips tying in with their rationale of expanding students’ horizons through authentic language learning experiences. The trips are for individuals and school groups and include high school programs abroad and au pair, work and internship programs abroad. Team Lingue has more than 35 of experience in study travel and through these trips, they accompany the linguistic growth of students and professionals who want to have direct contact with the culture of a certain country.
Team Lingue has also been providing translation services for over 30 years, a service which aims to support companies in foreign trade. It’s a fine-tuned art to correctly interpret not only the words but also the cultural context are often decisive factors in a negotiation.
