International House Riga - Satva has been a language school since 1993 and we joined the International House network in 2003. We have grown to be one of the largest private language schools in Riga employing over 50 people.
We teach all ages from three years old and our school offers English, German, Latvian, Spanish, Italian and French courses. This year we have developed professional English courses and EU funded courses for the unemployed.
The school occupies the first four floors of an art deco building near the circus. We are located five minutes’ walk away from the Opera House, the medieval old town and train station.
We take professional development very seriously and offer a full range of in-service seminars. We organize courses for English teachers such as The Cambridge CELTA and DELTA Module 1, IHCYL.
Additional Teacher Training Course Information
IH Riga runs a Celta course every summer in July. This is run by two outside trainers.
