Cordoba is a medium-sized city full of historical interest, in the middle of Andalusia, Spain. IH Cordoba was founded by John and Brita Haycraft as the first ever IH School in 1953. There are now two schools in Cordoba, as IH Cordoba Sierra was set up in 2010, and now has over 1,200 students.
Cordoba is situated in the heart of Andalusia, the southernmost region of Spain, within a beautiful natural environment in the valley of the Guadalquivir river and at the foot of the Sierra Morena mountain range. For the main part of the year it enjoys a warm and sunny climate. With a population of 300,000 inhabitants Cordoba has been declared Heritage of Mankind by the UNESCO. The city offers a wide range of possibilities for the visitors’ free time.
International House Cordoba was the founder member of the International House World Organisation. Good reasons to study Spanish here are: high quality language tuition, dynamic teaching staff and the beautiful Andalusian surroundings.
The school offers General Intensive Spanish courses, Intensive Plus courses including individual tuition, preparation courses for DELE and private tuition.
Students have a choice of different types of carefully selected accommodation, all located in the centre (maximum 20 minutes on foot) and with options to suit all tastes.
The school organises a full programme of social and cultural activities throughout the year.
