IH Arezzo - Accademia Britannica is a well-known and well-respected school in the area, which was opened in 1979. It runs both English Language and Italian Language and Culture courses.
It runs language courses for adults, teenagers and children.
It has a very active Cambridge English Language Assessment Examination Centre. It is a member of AISLi, an association of quality language schools in Italy (www.aisli.com). The school is an accredited Agenzia Formativa (Training Agency) with the Regione Toscana and is recognised by MIUR (the Italian Ministry of Education). The school has ISO 9001:2015 certification as well.

All of our courses are currently online, and our teachers are trained in using the communicative approach to deliver lessons which are effective and interactive, just as they are in the language classroom. We are offering online classes for adults and juniors, as well as exam preparation for Cambridge and IELTS. There are also online social activities to get involved in, including Conversation Club, Teen Club, and CLIL is Cool.
Courses available include a Taste of Tuscany, Made in Italy, Fascinating Folklore or Walking and Talking. We run closed group courses for friends, family, companies or educational institutions. Italian as a second language courses are also available.
Qualified experienced teaching staff and well-equipped classrooms await you. Accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, member of AISLI and ISO certified.

The City
Situated in the heart of Tuscany, Arezzo is the perfect place to study Italian. Extremely rich in art and history it is also famous for its many cultural events held throughout the year. The city's relatively small size means that it has a friendly atmosphere and that it is easy to get around without feeling lost. The enchanting Tuscan countryside surrounds the town. The school is located in a quiet piazza in the centre of Arezzo just 5 minutes walk from the station. Arezzo is convenient for visiting Florence, Siena, Cortona and Assisi.
