Young Learners Summer 2026: Oxford & Frensham
Our residential IH London Young Learner programmes in Oxford and Frensham are now open for Summer 2026 bookings. Students aged 8–17 can enjoy high-quality English tuition, engaging activities and memorable excursions in two inspiring UK boarding school campuses. English Experience 30+ in London
Our immersive, social and highly-personalised English Experience 30+ course is starting again from the 5th of January. Students can improve their English, develop their inter-cultural awareness and explore London with fellow mature learners over the age of 30.
Access IELTS: Accessible Preparation Course for Lower-Level Students
This accessible IELTS Academic preparation course is specifically designed to assist students at lower B1 level by combining English foundation (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) and IELTS Academic skills development (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to give them the best chance of success.
New for 2026: English and Spanish at the International Teen Summer Programme in Valencia
For summer 2026, Españolé IH Valencia is launching an exciting update to its International Teen Summer Programme: students can now choose to study either English or Spanish.
This new option creates a truly international atmosphere. Spanish teens will improve their English, while international students may choose between English and Spanish. All students come together for activities, excursions, and cultural events—offering international participants the chance to connect with both local Spanish students and peers from around the world.
The programme includes fun and engaging activities every day, from sports to cultural visits and social events, ensuring a vibrant and memorable summer experience.
Students can choose between residence accommodation or a welcoming host family stay, depending on their preference. To make sure everyone feels comfortable, we also differentiate by age:

New for 2026: IH Dublin Launches University Pathway Programme for Future University Students
IH Dublin is proud to announce its new University Pathway Programme, created for students planning to enter English-speaking universities. This innovative course combines intensive IELTS preparation with academic skills training, equipping learners with the English proficiency and study strategies needed to succeed in higher education.
At the core is our IELTS Morning Intensive (20h/week), supported by weekly academic sessions on essay writing, referencing, presentations, and research skills, plus IELTS mock exams and personalised feedback. Teaching with Pride: a One-Day Conference on Inclusive Schooling and LGBTQ+ Support at IH Galway Language Centre
IH Galway Language Centre is proud to have been awarded funding through the Eaquals Member Event Fund Scheme 2026 to host a dedicated one-day conference and workshop series in Dublin on Saturday, 28 February 2026.
This event will focus on one of the most important themes in modern education: inclusive schooling and supporting LGBTQ+ students in the language classroom. Bringing together professionals from across the language education sector, the day will offer a valuable opportunity for professional development, idea-sharing and collaboration.
Running from 10am to 4pm, the conference will explore what inclusive schooling truly means and how it can be embedded in everyday teaching practice so that every student feels valued, represented and supported. Workshop sessions will introduce practical strategies for creating inclusive learning environments, developing curriculum content and adapting materials to better reflect the diversity of today’s learners.
By leading this important conversation, IH Galway Language demonstrates an ongoing dedication to high-quality teaching, continuous innovation and learner-centred values. Students at our school can expect a welcoming, respectful environment where they can thrive academically and socially.
IH Torquay Celebrates Success of English for 30+ Course
This year we were delighted to welcome Barbara from Germany back to International House Torquay for her tenth MAX 4 30+ course.
Barbara chooses to return year after year because of the personal approach, small groups and professional yet relaxed atmosphere that define this programme.
