We are delighted to announce that we have a new affiliate school in Latin America and International House is now present in Chile! A big welcome to IH Santiago de Chile.
The start-up school in the city’s leafy neighbourhood, Providencia, is owned by Ariel Lopez, a long-standing member of the IH community with extensive experience in school management and strategy.
Santiago is the political and financial center of Chile and hosts the regional headquarters of many multinational corporations and organisations.
While the market for general English courses for both adults and young learners is already well established in Santiago, IH Santiago will specialise in offering a range of tailored services. These include:
- Hosting international exams and exam preparation courses
- Operating as a Cambridge University Press and Assessment Examination Centre, an IDP IELTS Centre, and a University of Michigan Examination Centre
- Providing bespoke language training to companies (both in-company and online)
- Offering one-to-one coaching for candidates preparing for IELTS and Cambridge examinations
In addition, IH Santiago will run a study abroad service, actively promoting International House schools worldwide to its customer base, creating new opportunities for students to study abroad and for IH schools to welcome Chilean learners.
