Job Description

An unforgettable experience!

We are currently looking for bright, energetic, enthusiastic people over 18 years old to work as English Summer Camp Teacher Assistants in our summer 2019 Young Learner summer Camps.
You should have experience of organising children’s activities and sports, and be interested in a pre-teaching position - you will be working closely with experienced teachers, but the camps are NOT language lessons.
You must be extremely energetic, patient, responsible, dynamic, full of initiative, represent the school standards, and love working with children!
These courses can be very tiring and stressful, but are incredibly rewarding, and will offer a great opportunity to learn all the tricks and trades of working closely with YLs.
Teaching opportunities might open up as a result ofthis experience.
Summer camps can be in different locations, and be half a day or day long camps. The are ususlaly based around a camp theme. An outline of the cmap plan will be provided, but initiative and your own suggestions are welcome!

There will be training and some time to get to know your surroundings from Monday 3rd June (obligatory), and the courses start from Monday 10th June. Candidates can stay on for the whole duration of camps, until 27 of July, or stay for a shorter period.

Interviews will be via Skype.
Closing date for applications: April 2019

Other benefits

  • Accommodation: You will be staying with local families who will provide a room, support and meals

About the school and City

The Camps take place in a LOVELY area in the north of Italy, a short train-ride to Milan, near the Como Lake, and just a short trip to the Alps... great for weekend getaways!
Camps will take place mostly outdoors, and summer here is sweet!
