About the school and City

We are based in Bristol in South West England, a beautiful double university city with a long and colourful history. Bristol is famous for its wild-life filming, live music, ballooning festival, festival of the sea, engineering, street art and much else besides. It has a population of approx. 500,000 rising to 800,000 when the two universities are in session. It is a great city for young people and students, with lots of evening activities, sport, music, theatre (the oldest working theatre in the country), green spaces and parks. It is a colourful, vibrant place, ideal as a study venue.

Bristol was European Green Capital in 2015. It was voted Best Place to live in Britain in 2017 (and in previous years), in 2018 the New York Times said it was one of the best places to visit and in 2017 The Rough Guide said it was the coolest city in Britain. We agree!
