Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DoS who loves his/her job and takes care of his/her teachers. He/she should be warm and sociable, creating the kind of IH school culture that we all know and love. He/she should provide evidence of having created and maintained a corporate spirit among teachers, a favourable psychological environment at school, and created a team of like-minded people in previous positions.
We are a small and growing school so it is important that the new DoS also contributes towards the growth of the school in all areas – English, teacher training and international exams. We have plans to expand and move to a larger location within the next year in order to offer more in-house classes. A new ‘Teacher Trainer and Exams Trainer’ will also be starting with us in June as part of this expansion project and will be working closely alongside the DoS and the team of 12 teachers to help us reach our goals.
We are a small and friendly team and we put effort into creating a pleasant working environment. We would be looking for someone easy going and flexible as well as dedicated to joining us on our mission.
Since we run CELTA courses, it would be desirable if the new DoS were also a CELTA tutor or had an interest in being trained up. There will be other teacher training opportunities assisting on CELT-P and CELT-S and other Cambridge courses.

  • Flights: Up to $500 to pay for arrival flight
