Job Description

Help us to change people's lives! With this role, you really can make a difference.

We are currently looking for bright, energetic, enthusiastic people over 18 years old to work as camp leaders and assistants in our summer 2019 children’s summer courses and camps. Some knowledge of Italian is preferable although not essential, but you should have experience of organising children’s activities and sports. You must be super-human, resilient, patient, have boundless energy and be able to cope on your own initiative. These courses can be very tiring and stressful, so a good sense of humour is essential. The course leader and assistant will have to work closely together and you must therefore be a ‘team player’ and easy to get on with.
We have different types of children's summer course, from half-day courses to 6-day residential camps.

For many children, the camp is the first time they sleep away from their parents ... you can help to learn how to be independent and self-sufficient.

‘Learning by doing’: The focus for the children is to enjoy a natural environment, away from computers and technology, taking part in fun activities and games in English. The end of each week rounds off with the children performing a short show for their parents before they go home.

There will be a training week from Monday 3rd June (obligatory), and the courses start from Monday 10th June.

Interviews will be via Skype.
Closing date for applications: end of March 2019
