Come and join us at the next GLS IH Berlin Teacher Training Day 2026, “Mensch im Mittelpunkt – Human Centred Teaching and Learning” on Saturday 10th October in Berlin.
This one-day conference for teachers of German, English and other Modern Languages has an inspiring programme lined up, and it’s a great chance to network with other members of our IH “family”!
- When: Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 09:00 – 17:00 ( followed by a farewell drink on campus)
- Where: on the GLS Campus, Kastanienallee 82 in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin
- What: A plenary, workshops, the opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers, and browse publishers’ stands.
- Theme: “Mensch im Mittelpunkt – Human Centred Teaching and Learning”
After all the recent focus on technology and AI, we want to put the human aspect of teaching and learning back into focus.
The programme is made up of sessions and workshops from publishers Hueber, Klett, and Oxford University Press as well as universities, IH Berlin teachers and international speakers.

The school is offering a special reduction for all those working at IH schools, meaning the fee will be €59 instead of the full rate of €95 and this includes a plenary (in German), 3 workshops of your choice (in English or German) plus refreshments, a delicious lunch and a final drink.
