Webinars for IH Arabic Teachers: Summer 2021

Workshop 1: Integrating some web and mobile applications into Arabic classes (Mentimeter, chatzy and others)

Presenter: Wessam Sayed

During this workshop we will look at some websites and mobile applications for engaging students in an online Arabic class. Participants will leave the session with ideas and tools to enhance their students’ experience with interactive tools.
Needed tools: PC/ Laptop with camera + smartphone.

Workshop 2: The use of the whiteboard in teaching Arabic online

Due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of last year and with the shift to remote teaching many teachers lost major and important tools in teaching subjects in general and in teaching languages ​​in particular, and the black or white board is considered one of the most important of these tools. So, we will learn an easy way to use the electronic whiteboard in teaching Arabic.

Workshop 3: Interactive Jamboard activities
