Promoting students’ autonomy in AFL (Strategies and tools)

Language learning achievement is relaying on students’ engagement. The more our students are playing active role in their learning the more they become autonomous learners. To help our students to be independent learners, we have to train them in class. In this session, we are going to discuss the skills that our students need to be autonomous learners and how can we help them to develop these skills in AFL classes.

In addition to that, we are going to highlight some practical tools that we can use in our Arabic classes and outside as well.
