Eaquals and International House World Organisation are proud to invite you to the webinar 'The 2021 classroom' which will take place online on Thursday 18th March from 15:00 to 16:00 (CET).

About the webinar

Alex Bishop from IH Madrid and Carmel Hickey from IH Dublin will look at some of the aspects of the classroom pre- and post-Covid. They will reflect on the impact that the pandemic has had on the way we teach and how we help our students learn. The will also explore some of the characteristics of the 2021 classroom such as the socially-distanced classroom, the hybrid classroom and online delivery as well as the implications and support required in terms of training, teacher training and general logistics.

At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Speakers

Alex Bishop is the Director Operations and Colegios at IH Madrid. He has worked there since 2000 in a variety of teaching and management roles. He has also been a teacher trainer and CELTA tutor since 2008. His main interests are in YL and VYL teaching.

Carmel Hickey has been working at International House Dublin since August 2000. She now works as Head of Education and CELTA tutor and spends most of her time ensuring the day-to day smooth running of the school.
