International House Milan's highly anticipated annual conference is back and this year, for the 13th edition, it moves online! Join the event to give a boost to your language teaching and start the academic year on the right foot.
Every year International House Milan and San Donato organises a conference for teachers from the state and private schools sector. The event is offered free of charge and turnout is generally upwards of 250. The success of the conference depends on the generosity of publishers who over the years have sponsored all the big names in ELT. This year the conference takes place over two days.
On Day 1, October 23rd, Macmillan brings us Kieran Donaghy who introduces 'The Fifth Skill of Viewing', Pearson brings us Rachael Robertson and 'The Gift of the Growth Mindset', our own IH teachers share their practical and engaging secondary classroom experience in our short workshops and Cambridge wraps up the day with Matt Ellman and 'Developing Teacher Leaders'.
On Day 2, October 30th, NILE brings us Thom Kiddle with 'Key Competences for Language Teachers in the 2020s', DELTA brings us David Heathfield and 'Live, Creative, Interactive Online Storytelling in English', our own IH teachers share their practical and engaging primary classroom experience in our short workshops and Cambridge wraps up the day with Matt Ellman and 'Developing Teacher Leaders'.
Both conference days are free.
