IH Directors' Conference 2021 Charity Balloon Race

The Directors' Conference annual charity event for 2021 is a Virtual Balloon Race! 

During the conference balloons will fly through the cities where IH schools are celebrating significant anniversaries.

We hope to have some fun tracking balloons throughout the conference. After the race starts you will be able to see the leaderboard at the bottom of this page (scroll down!)

Proceeds will go the IH World Foundation, which is supporting IH school projects around the world.

And to reassure you, no real balloons are used in this event – it is very environmentally friendly – it’s all online!

Prize!!!

In keeping with IHWO's environmental commitment, the prize for the winning balloon will be a £50 donation to an environmental charity of the winners choice.  

Start in Brno, and finish in Rome

In 2021 we will giving plaques to IH schools which have celebrated significant anniversaries of affiliation to IH in 2020 and 2021. So the balloons will take a worldwide route via these schools!

• IH Hanoi (celebrating 20 years of affiliation in 2021) Winner of this stage, IH La Spezia again!!

Tuesday 25th May

• IH Intuition (celebrating 25 years of affiliation in 2021) Winner of this stage,  still IH La Spezia!!
• IH Torres Vedras (celebrating 30 years of affiliation in 2020) IH La Spezia still in the lead. Will anybody catch them?

Wednesday 26th May

• IH Porto (celebrating 35 years of affiliation in 2020)IH La Spezia still in the lead. 
• IH Braga (celebrating 35 years of affiliation in 2021) IH Sydney Training Services in the lead now!!

Thursday 27th May

• IH Madrid (celebrating 40 years of affiliation in 2021) IH Sydney Training Services is still in the lead!!
• IH Buenos Aires (celebrating 45 years of affiliation in 2020) Monty (from IH Monterrey) is the new leader

Friday 28th May

• IH Rome Accademia Britannica (celebrating 60 years of affiliation in 2020) Overall winner MOT2 (IH Rouen). Congratulations!!
