Join us in Catania for the IH Directors' Conference 2019

The IH Directors’ Conference affords an opportunity for those who own or manage International House schools to invest time in their own personal development and leadership skills, hear from industry experts and share their own knowledge with each another. It is also a time for celebrating the IH network, highlighting everything we have achieved in the previous year, and informing our strategy for the future.

In 2019, the IH Directors’ Conference will be hosted by IH Catania in the beautiful, coastal Hotel Baia Verde from Saturday 4th – Tuesday 7th May 2019.

Accommodation

You can now book a room at the conference hotel, Hotel Baia Verde, where we have a very special rate of 114 Euros per night including breakfast. Availability is limited so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappoint. To book, please download and complete the booking form and return it to the email address on the document. For those looking for a slightly cheaper hotel, the Zeus Residence Hotel is just five minutes from the Baia Verde  conference hotel and offers 14 rooms with a variety of bed options for between 70 - 90 Euros per night. Programme Overview

The outline programme is as follows:

Saturday 4th May:
09.00 – 14.30 City tour of Catania with snack lunch
15.00 – 17.00  Workshop: Sell more courses - Nicola Lutz, No Fluff (for community schools)
15.00 - 17.00   IH Study Abroad Group Annual Meeting 

Welcome reception and dinner at the Baia Verde 

Sunday 5th – Tuesday 7th May:

3 days of conference sessions and workshops, including the following plenaries from our guest speakers.

Think by Design: Human-Centred Research – Rupert Daniels, Global Marketing Director for Cambridge University Press

Positive Education – Simon Ward, Educational Psychologist

Beyond the Conference
