IH Brno Trainer's Weekend 2019

Following the incredible success of the inaugural Trainer's Weekend earlier this year, we are very pleased and excited to announce the next event at International House Brno from 22 - 24 February 2019.

Feedback is one of the most important and effective tools for managers and trainers. But it is also difficult to do consistently well. Good feedback helps teachers and trainees understand how to improve their performance, which leads to better teaching and more student progress. We know trainers and managers want to be able to do this to the very best of their ability and so we have prepared a mini-course to give you some input focused on helping you achieve this.

The Sessions

This unique event is for trainers, managers and mentors and is aimed at helping you improve your ability to give high quality and useful feedback. The sessions have been prepared specifically for this course to enhance your understanding combined with practical examples and experience. Featuring well-known ELT management expert Andy Hockley along with experienced manager and trainer Dave Cleary, the Friday sessions will give you models and tools to work with which will then be supported by role-plays and simulations later in the weekend.

The Weekend

The weekend is centered round the successful IH Brno conference with the specialized trainer sessions on Friday and Sunday, either side of Givin’ it back – a conference for language teachers. Attending the Trainer’s Weekend also gives you entry to the Saturday conference. All for the same price as last year!

Included in the cost are all the course materials, refreshments, dinner on Friday and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. We are also looking to tap into your skills as a trainer so why not present at the Saturday conference? You can put your name forward to present there when you apply for the Trainer’s Weekend.

Price

3,600 CZK (140 EUR) per trainer
For those presenting on Saturday a 500 CZK / 20 EUR presenters fee will be discounted from the price.
