On successful completion of your IH course, you can choose a digital certificate.

Why digital certificates?

Verifiable, digital certificates are stored on a registered, verified site so there is no question of the authenticity of your certificate for a prospective employer, client, or anyone else you choose to share your certificate with.

Traditional paper certificates can get lost in the post, arrive damaged or get misplaced. A digital certificate is much more safe and secure.

In addition, we have chosen to offer digital certificates to uphold the promises we have made to environmental sustainability. By reducing our consumption of paper, ink and energy when printing and posting certificates, we are having a positive impact on the health of our environment.

What are some of the benefits of a digital certificate?

• It is always accessible – you never need to worry about losing your certificate or your certificate being damaged. You only need to remember your email address to access your certificate.
• It is easily shareable – you can share your achievement to social media, blogs or by email in just one click.
• You can print it whenever you need to.
• Your achievement can be verified at any time.

I still don’t really understand what you mean by ‘digital certificate’?

Think of it as a scanned copy of a paper certificate which is stored online for you in a safe, secure place. You can log in at any point to view your certificate. You can also download and print a PDF copy, share it on social media and even add it to your website, email signature, blog or digital resume. Your digital certificate has its own unique URL and you can send this to potential employers.
