We are excited to announce that International House World Organisation has been shortlisted for the 2010 LTM Star Awards in the category of “LTM Star School Association”.

In total there are five school associations shortlisted in this category and the winner will be announced at the Gala Dinner on September 4th.
The LTM Star Awards are voted for by Study Travel Agencies and reflect excellence in business performance. IHWO is very proud to be shortlisted for the Star School Association and we would like to thank everyone who voted for us!

A new IH destination to study Spanish abroad: Clic IH Cádiz opens its doors!

Bernhard Roters, founder and owner of Clic IH Seville, and Francisco Herrera, owner of the former IH school in Vejer, have opened a new school in Cádiz! Although the school has been running Spanish courses since May, the official inauguration took place very recently when they threw a grand opening party!
Clic IH Cádiz is situated in Bahia Blanca, the best area of the city and is just a stone’s throw away from the beach and the main shopping areas. The school occupies the ground and first floor of an attractive building and has 8 modern and fully-equipped classrooms, a computer lab for students and a reception area. The school offers a large variety of intensive and super-intensive courses, individual lessons, summer courses for teenagers, internships and other special courses.

Official opening of IH Newcastle

In June IH Newcastle celebrated its official opening with friends and colleagues. Here Patricia, Executive Director and Caroline, Academic Director cut the ribbon to declare the premises open (only 6 months after they moved in!). Later all the guests were treated to a river cruise with a 'ballet of the bridges' as bridges tilted and swung open to allow us past, and the party went on late into the night. Thanks to everyone who came!

INTERNATIONAL HOUSE Malta-Gozo has officially become a full FELTOM member.

FELTOM which stands for FEDERATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING ORGANISATIONS MALTA, is the national quality association representing 17 well established English Language schools in Malta and Gozo. The federation was set up in 1989 by a group of 10 established English Language schools, many of which saw the need to introduce quality assurance standards to the EFL industry in Malta as it began to grow. Like any quality accreditation, FELTOM accreditation has to be earned and maintain, so this is the start of a long term drive to ensure we always offer a high quality product to our agents and students alike.
