IHSJ Instituto Britanico is the most respected language school in Costa Rica. It was founded, and is still owned, by British teachers and this year is celebrating 30 years of life. Our activities include teaching English and Spanish as foreign languages for adults and young learners; training for teachers of English and Spanish as foreign languages; international examinations of University of Cambridge ESOL and the Instituto Cervantes; and consultancies for corporations in the linguistic development of their personnel. All of our language courses are aligned with the Common European Framework.
