IH Palma was established in 1987 and it has 4 main areas of activity: teaching Spanish to students from all over the world, teaching English, German, and French to the local population, training teachers of English and sending students from Spain to study languages abroad.

International House Palma occupies a bright, modern, spacious building in the centre of Palma, just off the prestigious Passeig Mallorca avenue. The 17 classrooms are spread over 3 floors and there is air-conditioning throughout. The top floor of the school is also an Internet wireless hotspot where students can connect to the Internet for free. The beautifully preserved old city which contains the cathedral and the ancient Arab baths, is just a 10 minute walk away.
