The International House World Organisation (IHWO) has 150 member schools in 50 countries.
Schools choose to affiliate to International House because they want to demonstrate their commitment to top quality language education. The organisation affiliates only private language schools into its global network and all our schools are privately-owned and managed.
In order to maintain its strong reputation for quality, the IHWO insists that all of its schools adhere to a detailed set of Quality Charters. These criteria are reinforced through regular school inspections.
Schools within the International House network do not compete with each other for business, enabling friendly, open, supportive relationships within the organisation.

Head Office Support
The IHWO head office is based in London where a small team coordinate the network. With specialists in recruitment, marketing, business development and communications they provide on-going support to IH schools, oversee affiliation applications and coordinate international conferences and events.
Teacher Training
International House was one of the early pioneers of teacher training and has remained at the forefront of the industry ever since. Both our online and in-school teacher training courses are highly respected, providing qualifications in CELTA, DELTA, Trinity ESOL, Online Training, Young Learners and more. To find out more go to our Teacher Training page.
Teacher Recruitment
The International House network is considered one of the most prestigious employers for language teachers. Our London-based recruitment service is dedicated to matching quality candidates to teaching and management vacancies in International House schools. We can interview and screen applicants on your behalf.
Marketing and Events
Our affiliates are invited to a number of International House conferences throughout the year. This creates an idea sharing platform where schools can learn and benefit from each other’s experience. Agent Workshops and Roadshows are run on behalf of the Study Abroad schools, helping to broaden their market and branded marketing materials are available, helping save costs on publicity.
