School and town profile:
International House Benghazi was established in 2003. We have been an Authorised Cambridge ESOL Centre since 2004. Very good opportunities for professional development, becoming a Cambridge ESOL Oral Examiner. To teach General English and Cambridge Exam Classes in a friendly, stimulating environment on the main premises. The centre is in Benghazi, the second largest city in Libya and is located on the Mediterranean Sea. Benghazi has a warm semi-arid climate with lovely summers and mild winters. It was founded by the Greeks as Hesperides and later renamed Berenice after the wife of Ptolemy III of Egypt. The East of the country is also famous for its ancient Greek cities of Cyrene and Apollonia inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Temple of Zeus. CELTA, Trinity or IHC Certificate required, at least one year teaching experience.

Evenings from 5-9pm daily except Friday or mornings from 9am to 2pm

The school provides health insurance which covers emergency cases up to one week in hospital.
