IHWO’s Sophie runs 13 miles in charity half marathon

IHWO’s Sophie Montagne took up the Action Day challenge by entering the Run To The Beat half marathon on 25th September, raising money for the London Air Ambulance.
The 13 mile run started at London’s O2 Arena and took in a loop of East London, finishing through Greenwich Park and back to the O2.
Sophie ran with a team of 9 men and finished sixth in the team with a time of 1hr 49minutes. The team raised a combined total of £2,000 for the London Air Ambulance, a charity that provides life-saving support by helicopter for victims of road traffic accidents and violent crime in the capital.
It was her first ever half marathon and she was thrilled with her final race time and the quantity raised for this great charity.
