IH Vancouver’s annual Valentine’s Day candy-gram event in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation was one of our most successful fundraisers ever.
Students were able to purchase a Valentine’s card for anyone in the school leading up to 14th February. We charged $2 for the cards and then delivered them with a chocolate. After expenses for the cards and chocolates, we raised approximately $125 dollars.
The candy gram inspired our Business English Class to create a follow-up crepe sale. This raised $350 and with a matching donation from the school, IH Vancouver donated a total of $825 to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
