Christina Margraf’s 10km run for Cancer Research

Business Development Manager Christina Margraf kicked off the IHWO office’s charitable efforts for Action Day 2011 with a 10km run in London’s Finsbury Park on 23rd July.

More than 2,000 women took part in the event to raise money for Cancer Research UK - the world’s leading charity dedicated to cancer research.

Christina managed to raise the impressive sum of £830 - which will be topped up by over £100 of gift aid and tax supplements - meaning that a total in excess of £930 will go to Cancer Research.

The race was a first time experience for Christina and she is proud she achieved her goal of finishing the 10km race in under one hour. Congratulations Christina!

The next member of the IHWO London-based team to put on their trainers and raise money for charity is Chief Operating Officer Lucy Horsefield who will be taking part in a 10-mile sponsored walk on 17th September, in aid of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).
